SAFETY AUDIT OF THE KERETAPI TANAH MELAYU
(KTM, OR MALAYAN RAILWAYS) SYSTEM, MALAYSIA
Safety Audit of KTMB being done by Indian Railways’ Multi Disciplinary team from
22nd to 28th August 2008. This is a result of the meeting between Honorable
Minister of Transport, Malaysia with Honorable Minister of Railways, India for the purpose of improving the KTM System. IRCON INTERNATIONAL LIMITED acts as a coordinatoron behalf of Indian Railways for the Safety inspection. Department Of Railways, Malaysia acts as a coordinator on behalf of the Government of Malaysia.
Multi Disciplinary Team from Indian Railways consist of the following officials :
- Mr. V.K. DUTT, Chief Electrical Engineer – Team Leader.
- Mr. A.K. GUPTA, Principal Chief Engineer.
- Mr. S.K. BUDHLAKOTI, Chief Operation Manager.
